They are of a robust heavy duty
construction to eliminate
distortion and are manufactured
tested and past British Standard (BS5459 Pants level S. BS2 tested by FIRA.) and have been passed BIFMA / ANSI.

All cabinets are fitted with an
'anti-tilt safely device which
prevents drawers being opened
when one is already open.

Each drawer is mounted
on slides that contain eight ball
bearing rollers for a smooth
action and allow the drawer to
be fully extended for access to
the whole drawer.

All cabinets are fitted with locks
and can accommodate both
tabbed and flattop filing (except
BS5 and A4BS 5E flat top only).

Backs and sides are pierced to
enable units to be bolted to
walls or each other.

Compressor plates are available
for letter and legal size.

The BS series of filing cabinets
protected by a 7-year guarantee.
This applies to all defects in
workmanship and design affecting the use of the Bisley filing cabinet within 7 years of purchase, fair wear and tear excepted.
